NYC Pinball Animation Video
I love doing flipbook stop action videos, which means of course I like watching them too. This one is great, not that I'm a big pinball guy but it's creative and it's a group effort. Looks like they had fun making it too!

New York City As Seen From UNDERNEATH A Skateboard
Wow! Not only is the perspective unique, this is no casual ride along the sidewalk. The double yellow line tells you where this character went.

Star Wars, The Old Republic pre-order details
Wonder how the Star Wars “The Old Republic” MMO game is configured? Can't figure out the 3 options (even though you’re ready to pre-order)?
Look no further. Bryan Whiting has the deets.

Cell Phone Meditation Timer
I wrote a meditation timer for cell phones as a web app not a phone app. This means you can use it without having to install an application, you can use it from your phone/tablet/computer, and it's free (because it was so easy to make).
So give it a whirl. Works to time yoga or Pilates sessions as well.
Feedback? Lemme know!

Google Labs Closing? Please Leave The Lights On!
If Google closes Google Labs, I hope they leave the lights on. That is, leave things running on the server farms.
Please continue to innovate and throw stuff out there but we love ya cause ya put out lots of wild stuff. Works mostly, but a.) you put it a lot of it out there all the time and better yet b.) you share it with us openly.
It's not just that all these toys are free you do videos and wikis and services and engage with the community around your gadgets, widgets, snippets, and hacks.
In many so ways you embrace and define the open source DIY mashup just-my-way-cuz-i-can ethic.
So thanks from so many of us for so much but please, leave the lights on for a while longer.

Free Artwork for Barcode Tattoos
If you're thinking about getting a barcode tattoo (and who isn't these days?) you should start with the best artwork you can.
Why get a barcode tattoo that won't scan properly or one that scans as something other than what you had in mind? You know, if you get a bad one, barcode nerds the world over will laugh at you.
Azalea Software will create barcodes for tattoos for free. That's right, we'll make a bar code for any tattoo artist or their customer, just for the asking!

Plick DIY Robot
Next time play the whole song. Otherwise you're merely pissing Lou Reed (and me) off.
Still, I want 2 or 3 of these bad boys!

Stuxnet Virus Explained
Wired has an amazing article about the Stuxnet virus that targeted Iran's centrifuges.
This is cyberwarfare at its finest. While this article is long, think of it as a piece in The New Yorker or Vanity Fair. This is investigative journalism at its finest.
So, does reading this make you sleep better at night???
