Rock Paper Scissors: man against computer

Try playing rock paper scissors against the New York Times' web site.

Not that we don't all know and love Rock Paper Scissors but playing against a robot hand is too cool for words!

Unusual lost password security questions

My complaint with most sites' lost password log in security questions is that they're usually bullshit. If I'm serious about stealing your identity, your mother's maiden name and the city you were born in are trivial.

Huntington Bank has the usual plus some with a twist, not to mention a sense of humor:
What is your favorite musical instrument?
What was your first job?
What is your greatest fear?
What is your favorite historical figure?
What sports team do you love to see lose?
What is the last name of your favorite author?
What is the name of your favorite comic book hero or cartoon character?
What is the first name of your best friend from childhood?
What was the make and model of the first car you owned?
What is the last name of your favorite teacher?
What is your favorite fruit or vegetable?

Even AARP Likes Meditation

Imagine my surprise when I read about AARP endorsing meditation. Have we see meditating go mainstream? Is yoga part of the reason why?

Valentine's Day & Online Dating

Online dating in the modern era involves one or more horny people and the internet. Usually craigslist instead of those other sites that advertise on TV. At least when craigslist is on the tube, it's part a juicy Law & Order plot.

Ready to read some "did they really say that?" craigslist ads? I've gathered up some good ones for your reading delight.

Going home to see Mom next week. Know what that means? MALLOMARS!!!

They're not sold in Seattle but you can beat your bottom dollar I'm buying a case this time. (The boxes I brought back last trip were someone's kids' favorite Xmas present.)
