I've been talking about our free Android app that scans barcodes. QRdvark has been available in the Android Market for a couple of weeks. We finally got a video together that begins to explain what QRdvark really is.

A great way to navigate panoramic views using a more intuitive UI. It's like pressing your face against the car window while someone drives you down the street.

How odd they've ported it to the iPhone. Why not the Kin? And how soon before Google Maps not only copies this but does them one better with a new and improved street view?

No sooner than QRdvark hits 1000 installs in 10 days than we release dev notes highlighting the API. QRdvark uses intents and can be called from other Android apps.

I-Dose. Another word for binaural beats

Oklahoma parents have been warned that their kids are getting high listening to digital drug music found on the internet. They call it "i-dose". The rest of us call these "binaural beats".

I've been providing free binaural beat MP3 files on JetCityOrange for years now. People from all over the world download and use them. They're mediTAtion aids, not mediCAtion.

My response? To write a web page about i-dosing.

DIY Satellites for only $8000!

Santa, I've been a really good boy so far this year. And we're already more than half through 2010. So if I keep it up can I have a homebrew satellite kit for Christmas?

I know it's $8000 but it's all I want. I don't need any other presents. And I know I'm Buddhist, not even a plain vanilla, non-church going Christian. Did I mention I've been a good boy?

From where I'm sittin', QRdvark Android Build 5 is Release Candidate 1. In other words, our Android QR phone app is about ready to ship.
