Use Tor to Protect All of Us

Using Tor when you surf, if even for an hour at a time, strengthens the it for everyone. The more traffic in the Tor network, the harder it is to monitor and censor any one person. So try to use Tor at least some of the time when you surf.

How Strong Is Your Password? Find Out!

We all think we're so smart when we choose a password.

Then you get hacked. Or more accurately, one or more sites you visit gets hacked. And nowadays this isn't a theoretical threat, it's yesterdays' headlines.

Don't fool yourself: your password probably sucks. How badly does it suck? Use this online password strength calculator to learn just how weak (or strong) your password is.

The best part is that the venerable Steve Gibson not only lays out the math nicely he tutors us all on how to make really, really strong passwords.

I confess: I found out my set of passwords needs hardening. Lesson learned!

You'd think I would have taken photos but noooo...

My Altoids BBQ grill was a big hit too.
