We all think we're so smart when we choose a password.
Then you get hacked. Or more accurately, one or more sites you visit gets hacked. And nowadays this isn't a theoretical threat, it's yesterdays' headlines.
Don't fool yourself: your password probably sucks. How badly does it suck? Use this online password strength calculator to learn just how weak (or strong) your password is.
The best part is that the venerable Steve Gibson not only lays out the math nicely he tutors us all on how to make really, really strong passwords.
I confess: I found out my set of passwords needs hardening. Lesson learned!
