I-502 and the end of Prohibition in Washington State

I-502, passed by Washington voters last November, legalizes marijuana for recreational use by adults over 21. Here’s my take on what I-502 means, CBD vs THC, and the future of medical marijuana et al.

WA State Begins Implementing I-502, Legalized Marijuana

The Washington State Liquor Control Board begins public forums this week on the implementation of I-502. I-502 legalizes posession of up to an ounce of marijuana in WA state by adults over 21.

The public meetings are the first step to licensed growers, producers, and retailers. Legal pot, taxed and sold over the counter.

Coincidently, the newly elected governor will be speaking with the Attorney General this week about the contrast between federal and state laws in both Washington and Colorado.

I for one, can’t wait!
